Does anyone have the Ford part numbers for the 2 different size nuts and bolts that hold the new rear leaf springs in after the B code springs are installed? If I'm putting new rear B code springs, 3.5" blocks and U-bolts I want to replace the nuts nad bolts that hold the new springs.
I used a set of v code front springs with the second leaf shortened from my stock EX front springs and the b code rear that were modded with the 2 shortest leafs from the stock EX springs.
This raised my front from 37 1/2 to 40 1/2 in the front from ground to wheel well and in the rear with the stock 2" tapered blocks and the modded B code springs it went up from 39" to 42". I wont be using my 3" blocks as they arent needed.
I love the new stance of a slight rake from front to back and 3" higher overall.
V and X are front springs. The difference is weight rating. I put used Vs on my Ex and it raised the front 2". I see no issue using used springs cuz if you bought a used truck you got used springs and unless you had a specific problem with the springs you wouldn't change em. The X code were used on F350s withe a snow plow package or F550s.
B codes are rear springs that also have abetter weight rating and better spring movement rate. This gives a lift as well as better ride(if I have read previous posts correctly).
I have a F250 I'm gonna get W codes(F450) for the front and have 3." blocks for the rear. Yep Used...
partsguyed.com what make is your quad? I curently own a Honda TRX450r (was in California previously and used it for dune/beach/racing) and i'm looking into also getting a 4x4 for more for utility/hunting and maybe even throw a plow on the front for winter.

I am putting a road armor bumper and warn winch on the front should I go to x code spring for the added weight?
Yep. X codes came on F-350's with the snow plow prep package for the extra weight up front from the plow, you are basically doing the same thing, hanging a bunch of new weight off the frontend.
