the ride is so much nicer!!
yes, which I've sold many times with these blocks. must be a year thing cause I did it before about 6 months ago.
So I think the best thing is to always go with at least the
343 = 13.50 in p/n N803770S436
or
360 = 14.163 in p/n F81Z5705EA

I'm dealing with a customer now that unfortunately I blew it and sent wrong u-bolts not once but twice.......
he is being a nice guy about it but I want to share this info.
if you have a F250 and are adding blocks from the F350 and have no aux springs you can use/need N811667S436 which are 320mm or 12.598 in long
if you have the F250 with aux springs you need N803770S436 which are 343mm long or 13.503 in long
do not use the F81Z5705EA which are 360mm long, my cust says they are too wide and hence why the second ones I sent were wrong.
I did not know they were too wide and seen somewhere in this post where I thought someone said they ordered and used this part number....
I dont recommend that program as you will be in same boat I'm in now.
I would have sent the 343mm the first time but I blew it and missed the fact he had aux springs..... my bad.
I have this info branded into memory now.

if you had aux springs on the F250 its N811667S436 and they are the 320mm
if you didn't have the aux springs then they were N804420S436 289mm
so I screwed the pooch on this one..
Thanks for the info. I have both rear blocks (F81Z*5598*FA left & F81Z*5598*GA right) and have installed the V -codes spring in the front. The suggested rear springs to help smooth the ride for the rear were B -code springs # 3C3Z*5560*CB. If this is true,
on my 2004 Excursion 4X4 Eddie Bauer 4X4 diesel, which U-bolts should be used? The N811*667S*436 or the N803*770S*436 and what is the OEM numbers for the nuts? The parts numbers for the U-bolts seem to be for a set of 4 U-bolts, is that correct? Now I'm ready to find shocks for this lifted Excursion, any thoughts?
The B code springs are different than the stock Excursion springs. Different shape, design and load rating.
You CAN use the factory springs, but most people change to the B code to get a better spring rate and ride.
Ford does NOT sell a spring that lifts the rear like the v code swap.
Options for the rear:
F-350 3.5" tapered spacer block stock springs. Brings rear up to near level. Ride still very mushy
F-350 3.5" tapered spacer block B or F code springs. Brings rear up to near level. Ride MUCH improved.
Stock springs or B code springs with Add-A-Leaf. Bings rear up to level or more. Ride improved with stock springs. Ride stiffer with B codes.
B codes with 2nd leaf from old Excursion springs added in the spring pack. Brings rear up 2.25 inches. Stiffer ride than B codes.
Do a search here in the Excursion forum and you sill find that almost all of your questions have been answered at some time or another.

Ride is a little stiffer, but I also put on the HD 5100 Bilstein shocks too. If you are going down the highway and normal roads it works great.
You mostly notice it on the gravel/pothole roads. the combo absorbs them well, but is stiff doing it. It's still an improvement over bottoming out on the bump stops.
BTW - we all need a garage like forests!
