Why do I like the sleeping in portion of daylight savings time, but hate getting off work at 5pm and having already having it be dark?

Why do people fear deflation of the dollar?

 

Why did we learn in my macro economics class that is the dollar deflates and is worth less-- we won't be able to inport as much stuff-- making stuff cost more. If we can't in port cheap oil-- gas prices go up and so does EVERYTHING else. (bread-milk-nails-steel) When things cost more people can't support themselves or are stupid and put themselves in enormous debt. People get fired- or laid off-- and it just keeps getting worse and worse.

 

Why do most things in life when they go wrong they naturally snowball?

I always thought deflation increased the worth a single dollar since inflation decreases the worth of a single dollar.
This is why I'm not in finances as a career field.

Background: Good coworker and friend who helped me learn my job just got booted for reason that I don't know but it came from over my managers head so something fairly big must have happened. Now I'm beginning to question my own job status.

The only thing an inflated dollar is good for is if you are going on vaction overseas and need to buy their money--
