Illegally down the street

I have one rear fender and one door hanging on the truck but it was a blast. I have a heavily modded 302 in front of a 4r70w transmission.

I have been fighting that trans swap for some time but finally got it figured out. (wife says I should read directions more and much sooner) I had to check one box on the software program for the trans.

No lights and no mounted front end but now that it all seems to work, I can start to put the rest back together. I crashed it christmas day of 2003, so i totally tore it down and installed the mII and four bar set up. got 4.11s in the rear with a posi and all on bags (sorry not for everyone). It feels great so far but time will tell. No heavy body mods so it actually looks pretty stock except the rollcage for extra safety.

Just wanted to tell others to keep at it. With time it will be even more fun.

1950. It's an F-1 and was my first vehicle. I am only 25 but its been with me almost 10 years. I drove it for maybe a total of 2 years before the accident. I was always changing the engine amongst other things. It was supposed to be a daily but that never really worked out.

Woohooo! Big thumbs up to ya!

Here's a couple of shots of when I got my truck running. Can of gas sitting on up on the cowl held in place with a bungee cord, no front clip, PVC tubing for an upper radiator hose....lol

Here's the truck a few months later after I got the front clip on....still a bit illegal....lol

Enjoy the ride!
