September B/S thread

Good morning guys.
I saw some thing nice yesterday.
I was working in Madison about 1:30 I heard 2 plains and looked up and saw a B-17 and I think a B-52 flying at about 2000 feet headed east. They look great.
I think they were coming from the air show at Sikorsky.
Looks like another great day, enjoy.

Continuing saga with my larger tires project.
It has definitely become a project for sure.
The tires have yet to get to the rim manufacturer, and now I figure that's a good thing.
Because I figure the dealership would be getting antsy should they have a stack of five 35.4 inch tires lingering around their parts room.
The Superlift steering stabilizers still (since April) are not in from Gabriel and I finally canceled that order today.
Today I decided I'd pay Quigley's markup and order the Skyjacker steering stabilizers through them in the hopes that they would be in stock and a fast shipment.
Quigley calls back to report that Skyjacker is also waiting on Gabriel to make a batch of those steering stabilizers.
I then called Performance Specialties in Norwalk about locating some of the Skyjackers, and they found four way out West at a supplier's warehouse, so I ordered two, and called back Quigley to cancel the back order.
Quigley also said that with the 2007 and later axles the steering stabilizer et. al. has changed.
The dealership pulled my aft axle, yet its 32 spline, at least that's something which is certain.
I figured there was too much work involved to visually count the splines on the front axle, so I have to run the build numbers and see what comes up.
On the other hand I could just find after market front inner & outer shafts and get an ARB to match that spline count.
I still have to finding a higher spine count after market axle and mating ARB locker for the rear.

hi there Greg & Andy:
As for how the house is progressing.
We sent in the list of inspection findings and our request for the rectification of selected items.
The owner's agent sent back a terse will remediate the radon, without further addressing the other items.
So the rest of the list is being haggled over between the lawyers involved for both sides.
I suspect if the owner proceeds with radon remediation, then its not reasonable to think a contractor would have it done by the originally proposed closing date.
The kitchen and bath are an addition to the original house and are over an "inaccessible" crawlspace.
Should be interesting how 'they' approach the radon remediation. I said to my wife that should they just put a fan on that crawlspace then the fan will suck air out of the house which will raise our heating-cooling bills.
