eosz-7c327b. Bill listed a bunch available, I bought some from ebay.
If your able to post a picture of that bushing, since you have some, that would be great. I checked out that part number on line, nothing remotely looks like our parts. Since you have a parts book and Bill as well, you can see where this eosz-7c327b bushing goes. I have a number only and going on your comments an get a bunch of them. I need to know where on the diagram this part goes. I will see in the future to see if I can find a parts book to help in this area.
I am not posting a pic. A: I barely know how as it would take me the better part of a day. I am not going to live forever. B: There really isn't anything to post. The pictures introduced already have ample information. C: I bought the one from way earlier that was linked to ebay. Bill listed a bunch available from various suppliers. Call them and order a few. There is a bracket on the bell housing that is held in with 2 bolts. This bracket has a hole in it and through this hole passes the end of the bell crank. The bushing goes into that hole. Pretty simple. the picture if the overhauled unit that bushing was trashed and was replaced by a bronze-looking sleave. If your bell crank rod is excessively worn, this bushing isn't going to help. you need to fix it. If your bracket is missing most of or all of the bushing then it would probably not accept the bushing as the bracket is likely excessively worn from metal on metal beating around in there. These are common sense things I always look for on anything old, but apparently I am the only one. I feel like I am wasting everyone's time by making this statement, especially mine.
I hear things are nice in the samsung galaxy this time of year, maybe when we get our 79s fixed, we can pool together and get enough gas to get there.

Don't worry, I won't ask any more questions. As I stated to Bill, throwing around part numbers without relating them to the diagrams is tough to picture what parts are talked about. Even the last diagram that shows, the plate that you mentioned with the two bolts and large bushing, can ether be called EOSZ-7C327B or 7341. The small link that joins from the top arm of the bell crank to the transmission is also called EOSZ-7C327B or 7341 and totally do not have anything in common in size . So sorry for the confusion trying to understand the numbers and part relationships. I will check out the links above for the suppliers, Thanks for your help!
WOW!! All I can say is WOW!! That is not true, is incorrect, as well as just doesn't even make sense. Your number Eosz-7c327b is the bushing that sopports the bell crank on the BELL HOUSING SIDE, Capish???????? The other numbers (7341, ;;; 7c431) refer to the smaller bushings. These bushings are installed in thetransmission shift actuator, thebell crank, as well as the steering column. This is why there are multiple listings for that item within the drawings. DO NOT CONFUSE THE TWO. There is a significant sizing difference. The bearing/bushing eosz-7c327b is NOT listed as an application for 78-79 4x4. endof story. It is not any part of the drawing for 1978-1979. just isn't. However, the discussion with bill determined that that part will FIT a 1978-1979 bell crank bracket, even though ford parts says it wasn't there. I hope you understand. If you are looking for where that bushing goes in the book as well as trying to find the application, you won't. It ain't happening.
The part fits. The component accepts the part. Fix on one of these trucks for the majority of your life; well, and figure out that things fit sometimes, even if there not supposed to.
