Then why is 7C327 shown in the 1978 shop manual from ? Who's literature is wrong here?
see post #40...fits: Bronco/F150 & F250 4x4 !
7C327 is not listed in the truck parts catalog except 1973/76 F100 4WD
7C327 is not listed in the car parts catalog for 1978/79 Bronco.
Two different parts catalogs, truck catalog dated 4/1980 (C/D) & 10/1988 (microfiche), car catalog dated 11/1988 (C/D).
Parts catalogs were updated twice a year to add new info and correct errors. So by 1988, any error related to a bellcrank bushing woiuld have been corrected.
Of these 3 catalogs I have, none show a picture or application for a 4WD bellcrank bushing excepting 1973/76 F100 4WD
The shop manual may show it, but most likely, Ford only furnished it with the bellcrank, because there's no pic of it in either parts catalog.
I believe that the unit posted is the right bushing/bearing from post (7c327) appears correct, however, mine the bell crank rod becomes worn and a new bushing/bearing won't totally fix it, without also bushing up the bell crank rod or build up and turn down. However, we are at a starting point atleast. See what happens when we work together? We can find that part and I can finally fix the 79 RIGHT. Numbers and I have been through this every year once a year for a while now. I am glad someone found the 1978 page for a nice add on.

If you think that EOSZ-7C327-B (replaced EOSZ-7C327-A) is correct (I do not!), go ahead and get it....then try to install it. Lotsa luck.
EOSZ-7C327-B =
NOS PARTS LTD has 3 = 972-937-2201.
CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS has 3 = 800-476-9653.
LINCOLN LAND has 14 = 727-446-2193.
GREEN SALES CO. has 21 = 800-543-4959.
------------------------------------------------- EOSZ-7C327-A =
NOS PARTS LTD has 2.
HAVEN FORD has 2 = 620-465-2252.
GREEN SALES CO. has 3.
KLIMESH MOTOR SALES has 4 = 563-562-3241.
Happy hunting, but don't use a Marlin model 1881, they tend to jam.
It probably would fit. The dimension of 7/16" and 11/16" is correct, I know because Mine was so worn out I actually machined a whole new apparatus myself in my shop, and that was the right dimensions It likely is the same bushing that is in the bracket on the bellhousing. Thanks numbers. I will order and follow up when I get time.

When you see the puppy, it probably won't. When Ford installed bushings in, for examples shift arms and wiper pivot arms, they were swagged in, so couldn't be R&R'd.
So, I assume since this bushing in the D7TZ-7A185-A bellcrank isn't listed, it was probably swagged in.
the diagram dated 1980 shows 7c327a to be the bearing of 7a185 to 7c431. That tells me very clearly that the diagram of 1978 parts illustration shows that exact union, 7a185 to 7c431, or in plain english bellcrank to bellhousing. Now there is a misconception somewhere. on account that the parts manual shows application up to 1976 but not 1977 and newer even though the parts illustration shows the EXACT SAME part numbers for 1977-1979. I bet the parts manual is just a mistake that got overlooked.

Where is the 7C327 bushing? No see um in either of these two pics.
The only bushing shown is 7341 and it fits into the 7A256 manual control selector lever.
these are replaceable, I have changed many on the bellhousing side, however I never had new bushings, I would stumble on a nice bracket in a yard and just pop the old but better than mine bushing out and install into my truck.
its not in that pic, you won't listen. The parts lis thas it listed as fitting that bracket, read the note in the part list, it says it is in that union of the 7c431 to 7a185. WHY DOES IT SAY THAT? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WOULS IT SAY THATY IF IT DOESN"T EXIST? WHY????
section a71 page 13 very bottom line, far right column. WHAT DOES THAT SAY????
Open your peepers, I posted that page yesterday(post #44): Applications for EOSZ-7C327-A = 1973/76 F100 4WD
And where pray tell, does it list this EOSZ bushing in the catalog for anything other than the above? There's no application or pic of the little charmer for 1977/79.
People at the counter used to ask..."what does the parts catalog say?" I'd lay my ear on the catalog, respond..."it's not talking."
