8' flaresides were made in this bodystyle between 1973-1979.

6' Flaresides were made in this bodystyle between 1977-1979.

And the 6' Flareside is much more comonly found, which goes to show just how rare the 8' flareside is in this generation of trucks.

Ford also made a 9' Flareside F-350, but you have to go to the 1967-1972 generation to hope to find one of those rarities.

I cant find the ad anymore, but there was a black long bed step side on craigslist here in Colorado within the last couple months. Looked kind of cool.

Longbed stepsides are very cool, and about as rare too. And that's a real nice truck, Caseihman94.

73 Flareside running boards

I need to see how the running board brackets attach under your 73 bed. If you have time, would you post some photos showing how and to what the interior bracket is bolted to?

Thanks!
