As noted already, one push of the button turns off the traction control, holding it 10 seconds turns off the stability control.
I love driving my F150, but I find this feature annoying. I spend a lot of time on gravel roads and in muddy fields, it seems like I'm constantly turning this off. Nothing worse than having this system take over in a mud hole!
It freaks me out when I'm into a corner with loose gravel and the stability and traction control starts up. It distracts from the driving skills I've developed over years of driving on gravel and dirt roads.

same thing here, gets on my nerves. i know its there to help but still, there needs to be on "offroad" button or something so this system doesnt interfere.

Well, it can be done... the Raptor has a way to turn all of that crap off. I wonder if one could pull the right fuses and kill those systems? I hate the traction control and turn it off (hold down button 10 seconds) at every crank.
Have you guys held the brakes and then gunned it to trick the TC? I did it once just to see if I could squeak the tires at all and it worked. Have yet to do it again. Pirellis too expensive but was curious.
