Oil filter question

Advance recently had a sale on the basic (not PureOne) Purolator filter so I bought a couple for my '02 3.0 Edge. Is this a good filter? I know the Motorcraft FL400S is made by Purolator, but I think its closer to the PurOne in design. Thanks

The Purolator Premium Plus filter is an excellent filter, by far better than any Fram, or any of its off breeds.

Yesterday I saw that the Motorcraft Long Life FL400S was $2.77 at the Walmart where I live. My 00 Ranger takes Fl-1A or Purolator L3000, I've always used either combination, but its getting harder and harder for me to find Purolator for my ford in my area.

Oil filter question

Thanks for the replies. I'm sure the purolator is a good filter, but I decided to return them and exchanged for Motorcraft FL400S. Nothing like the original.
