Plastic Piece between hood and windshield

There is a black plastic piece thats sits where the windshield and hood meet, the wipers come from it. Mine is cracked and it needs to be replaced. What is that called?

it is called a wiper cowl, the left and right hand side are seperate pieces so you shouldnt have to replace the whole thing

on both my 04 and 06 they wont stay clipped together!! Bad design! I hate my ford dealer in town though, they wreck more stuff than fix. They have scratched 5 pieces of my dash, put a dent in the back passenger door that I cant prove, but I hand washed my truck before I took it to them and I know for a fact it wasnt there. I never park near other cars either and its not a door ding. My dash its al crooked and loose, missing pieces!!!!!!! I can no longer switch my vent air flow from face to floor or to defrost, just blows out through the face. Truck will be going back in the 20th for them to fix this all but the dent. I doubt they will get it all right, the dash alone has been there 3 times. Also had a flat tire when i got home once too with two "screws" stuck in the tire right beside each other, I found that odd, not only one, but two and like sharing the same hole! A screw would be easy to jsut screw in someones tire! I have no choice but to take it to them because I have onnly one dealer in my town and now my truck is over kms. Bu tmy truck was in this dealership before it was off warranty so its still covered from previous. Biggest hassle ever, I dread taking it there!

Yup same problem here, they wouldnt stay clipped together and the driver side kept popping up creating wind noise. However, the other day i tried to push it back down and accidentally hit it too hard, i put my fist right thru it. Yes very very crappy design. Do you know how $ they are? I only need to replace the driver side.

I drilled through mine, on the front edge where they are suppose to "join" and put a black ziptie through them. Not sticking out, it's hidden below the hood. same idea as the screw but I thought the tie would allow for some flex.
