When you mod them, they both become a 140v IDM. IIRC, Scott (Cookie88) used the early IDM for the swap on his.

Roland, Ron (Ron's Power Stroke) is sending me a resistor for my 110V IDM. We just exchanged PMs tonight. I will get a very low watt soldering iron and give it my best. Shouldn't be a problem, I have soldered literally thousands of wires, just not that many components. A nice small solder sucker will be good to have as well, as would a solder wick.

I also found the link I was looking for only to find out in that thread that step-by-step instructions are in Cookie's gallery. LINK

Clay, you caught the Not So Early 99 in my updated sig. I still have AB codes though, so it is still Early.

So does anyone have a extra resistor I can get or I might know of a couple places locally I can get one but I thought I'd ask. I'm going to do this mod with a few other mods on a day I set asside to calm my PMS.

I did and really liked it Cool idea. You know we can fix that AB code issue I am a dealer for Casserly Injectors I am installing a set next weekend, so you can drive it and see what you think.

What year do you have? PM me. I have some of each.
EDIT: I saw in your other thread that you have the E99. I've got you covered.

The "cranky old man" thing is kind of an inside joke between Caly and me.

Test driving injectors would be real nice.

I am thinking about 200cc with 30% over nozzles. What are you putting in.

Edit: I am bringing 2 PMT1s with me.

I am putting in Stage 2 160/30 Singles. Hopefully they are large enough, but that is what Ryan suggested. Probably will go larger later, dang PMS...

That will be a good test drive. I want to hear how those singles sound at idle.

We are both thinking 30 over.

I am really excited to see how it does. Plus, they aren't as expensive as you would think, and after Ron's Powerstroke's experience with Ryan and our conversations I am very proud to be using his product.

No problem. Let me know if you need anything else. I have some other links to help with the IDM mod but I thought those would help out enough. Visual representation helps a ton!
