yes it was as my memory serves, you could do a search with that number and you should come up with a thread and a posting of the letter I blieve.

Thanks. I had done that but found a couple of threads showing that number had been suspended so I wasn't sure. Then for some reason my brain kicked in and I decided to check my OASIS report to see if any CSPs had been done before and noticed it actually lists outstanding CSPs that haven't been done.

Turns out the two CSPs my dealer did are the two I see in the OASIS report (including '08B07 CSP') and the one for the Venturi Tee.

I think I'm all set. I've only driven about 3 miles since picking up the truck so I can't say there's a big difference except I think it shifts smoother.

Im shocked that your dealer didnt just pull up your VIN because it would show all CSP's and/or recalls that apply to your VIN.

In the end I think this is just what they did. The person who makes the service appointments asked because they needed to figure out if parts would be needed for the CSP. Why this person didn't have access to the OASIS report is beyond me but fortunately someone in service did and knew what they were doing.

Personally I would be scared to let that dealer do the work if they did not know anything about the latest flash.

sws85,

Have the dealer redo the flash. It definately should be longer between regens and they should only last for a few minutes depending how hard the truck is working.

I had my 2008 in for its first service at 5000 kms and they did the reflash (a few weeks ago). The truck has gone into regen twice now in the last 1000 kms. I dont think it did a regen prior to the flash (or maybe it did one -- cant recall somehow??). Mileage is up according to the display (have not hand calculated) but only by .5 mpg or so!

No regen message on info center

According to my oasis report my 08 Job 1 250 has had the 08B07CSP update & the venturi tee. The tee I can physically see so I know that has been done. I have never seen a message regarding regen on my info center and I'm right at 5000 miles. Do you suppouse the selling dealer just charged the warrenty time and collected or could there be a problem? Sounds like a reflash may be in order.

I have an 08-F350CC, on the door jam it tells me the truck was built Feb 08, so what job truck do I have? I saw on the Oasia report that the truck had an update on October 08, do I have the latest flash? Truck runs great but iit s not stock anymore, If I need a flash I'll go do it but I need to put the exhaust back together as it came so it is a hassle to put it back together just a bit, but will do if I need the flash.
any insite would be appreciated.

CBENN, if your heap is running good, I'd leave it be. If something starts to go south, swap the stock exhaust back in and walk in then take it backi.

I bought my 09 F250 6.4 sc 4x4 new in jan of this year. My mpg and regen cycles seemed to be pretty good, but one day i noticed my truck regening almost everyday and my mpg went from 14 city/hwy to 9! any ideas as to why this is?
