Ok took the truck to the dealer today for LOF, poor MPG and Idle, Told me there was a update to the flash this week, Any truth to this? Last update I got was the oct flash I know there is a Dec flash, have not heard of any since then.

 

There is one due out any day now that is supposed to fix the fuel economy and loss of performance that the Oct flash. I have been in contact with the Service Manager from my dealership and Ford themselves who says that it was due out "mid first quarter 2004". Since it is past that and most software developers deliver late, it could be.

What exactly did they tell you and who told you?

 

Well just got the truck back and the update was just the dec flash with a few corrections on it. didn't change the performance or the MPG. Oh well just hopfull thinking
