Advice on connectin up-pipes
First had a hell of a time getting them disconnected not I can't get the damn clamp back on from the up pipe to the turbo any body have a trick for this seems to be about a half inch gap in between it. I'm done smashing my fingers on it for today got to take a nap cause I have to work in a couple of hours.

It helps to have 2 people with this. Loosen the bolts on the up-pipes at the manifolds, that should give you enough slack to get the babys butt on the turbo. Be sure to line up the pin at the turbo or the clamp will not fit right and it will leak. You can also leave the 2 bolts on the turbo loose for it to give a little. Good luck.

When we did Jeff's, I ended up having to take the 2 turbo bolts out. With the up-pipe to manifold bolts dang near all the way out I was able to get the baby's butt on the turbo, then got the turbo positioned correctly on the pedistal, tightened those two bolts, then tightened the up-pipe to manifold bolts. Goodluck man, I know its a PITA, but like Rick said, its alot easier with 2 people, I had JD pushing up on the up pipes to help me some.

There's a little pin that slides into a hole to make sure things are properly aligned when you put them back together. If you changed the donuts, you cannot tighten the baby's but before you connect it back to the turbo. If you didn't change the donuts, either loosen the pipes at the Y connector or at the exhaust manifolds as mentioned to get it lined up properly. That half inch gap at the top should be a quarter inch or less when it lines up right. Then the clamp will slip over the connection and you'll be good to go.
Otherwise Joe has the right advice. This isn't one of those simple quick steps.
