We are pulling the trailer over to the other side of Puget Sound to BIL's vacation home, parking it on the street in front of thier house.
Enjoy a well deserved weekend Dan. When I read this the first thing that came to mind was Randy Quaid in one of the Vacation movies dumping the tank inot the storm drain saying "Chitters Full"

Good evening every one! Had a productive day today.

Tomorrow it is! I mean... what headlamps? I don't know nothin bout no headlamps!
Although I DO know that the 6.0 will burn all 4 rear tires.
I ran up to the auction yard in the 6.0 w/ a bumper pull trailer so I could get the welder, bale chopper, and 3pt drill seeder and put a whirly bird in the bed. Dad and my bro rode up in the Mack tractor w/flatbed. We left the flatbed there for now so on the way back we had the Mack going bobtail, my bro driving the Int'l service truck, and me following up the rear in the 6.0 and my loaded trailer.
Now let me add that it was raining like hell at this point and the service truck may have been slightly less than 100% legal to be on the road. So we hopped off the highway and the exit sloped upwards. So the Mack made the light, but me and my bro were stopped at the light. So I see the running lights go off and the exhaust stop shaking. CRAP. The hazards go on and the door opens. Double crap! So I slid over and let my bro drive the 6.0 for the time being cause he wasn't happy and he knew exactly how he wanted the truck. We tried to pull through the intersection (BUSY!!! intersection) and throw on jumper cables. Nope. Trailer sticks out too far. I remember I've got a milk crate full of chains in the bed. So we get the trailer facing towards the Int'l and me facing across the intersection in the 6.0. Hook a chain to the back of the trailer and the front of the Int'l. My back tires were on wet grass to start off. (still raining at this point but slacked up a little) I rolled off the wet grass and laid into it. All 4 on the back end broke loose. Backed off the throttle then right back in. More spinning tires and smoke, but we got her started. Keep in mind I was crossing 4 lanes of traffic (2 each way) with the tires spinning, a trailer in tow, and a Class B truck hooked to the trailer. Kinda sketchy.
Fortunately we made it back to the shop ok with no more issues, but every time we were stopped facing uphill my gut twinged a bit.
The crane on that truck is really handy though. We unloaded a man basket out of the back of the service truck with it. And we unloaded my trailer with it as well. VERY handy to have.
Looking back: Yes. It must've been a heck of a sight seeing a lil DRW 6.0 pulling a loaded trailer with a big old Int'l hooked to it crossing 4 lanes of traffic (2 each way) all at once.
Then: Negative. Felt more like I was gonna do this
The interesting thing is it didn't rain at all around the shop or at home, but I couldn't see 300 feet ahead of me on the highway up in the northeast corner of the state it was raining so hard.
Well I see that on the truck one of the dully marker lights is out and I hate a light thats out so we go to the auto parts store and get a light so I open the wheel well to get to it and a wire is broken So I tried to tape it back together and it won't stay together
And thats where I am now.
Jim thanks again for the tip for the flight web-sight we scored 2 flights for $100 each
