Yep, to someone with a V10, a diesel is just noisy, expensive and slow. It's pretty much worthless trying to discuss the differences, it always ends in a pissing match

A buddy of mine has a V-10. Although he always thought my truck was Ok he felt his was equal 
NOw he has driven it a little bit with the DP Tuner and now he is
thinking maybe with his next truck he will get a diesel.

We had the V10 in the Ex I just sold, and my wife has fallen in love with my F250 while I'm still getting the new 7.3L Ex cleaned up, detailed, and lightly modded before turning it back over to her. She still doesn't like the noise, but she loves the way it responds and drives, and she can't help but enjoy when she gets out of it and notices the "truck envy" expression on men's faces.
