Connecticut is a nice state to visit, but driving on I-95 in the Stamford to Bridgeport area sucks almost as bad as the drive back home at 2 AM.

95 sucks donkey member to drive on regardless of the hour. I've been stuck in traffic so bad on 95 AT 2:30 AM and traffic was so backed up that I put my truck in park and just shut it off in a travel lane. Sat for a good ten minutes before I had to start her up again to move. Truckers were just pulling over and going to sleep. Can't say I blamed them.
we paved the chase bank in Stamford, rite off exit 5 on 95 last night.
it took 65 minutes to travel the 24 miles to the O&G asphalt plant off exit 26 in Bridgeport.
and only took 85 minutes to travel the 79 miles from exit 5 home.

I'm in the New haven area, Tom. Maybe 20 minutes from New haven harbor.
McDonald's is just the thing for 95. In town on the main drag we've got a Dunkin Donuts every quarter mile or so. I avoid 95 like the plague but at times it's unavoidable.
Stamford is a.... unique... town as well. Due to its proximity to New York City. We had the contract to remove their leaves and brush for a while. They called for 300yds/week. We removed 300yds/day and were still losing ground so we terminated that contract but man getting 3 loads there to our yard in a day was a major challenge.
