2001 F150 XL. Has the "work truck" package, grille and headlight surround are both white. Need both of them. Broke the grille out completely, and cracked the surround in a few places. Also knocked the pins off the center emblem, so it's not usable anymore either.

Hey Doc...did you check the headlight mounting bracket for damage...its the plastic piece the grill and headlight mount into...seen a lot of them damaged and never repaired and the headlights jiggle over bumps...

Yeah, and they seem to have suffered no damage. I took hold of the headlights and tried to move them and they seem pretty solidly in place. Really, I think the only damage was cosmetic... I saw the first couple of the buggers run across the road and was on the brakes as soon as I spied them (always seems to be the one ya don't see that ends up doing the damage, does'nt it?). Plus I was still technically "in town" where the speed limit was 45mph, so that helped minimize the damage a bit. I've driven the truck a time or two since it happened and it seems to drive all right... no shakes, no overheating, etc. I'm thinking I just lucked out on this hit... now if only I could luck into some replacement parts.

Hey y'all. I hate not being able to hang out everyday but the animals rule and so I must just pop in every so often when a rule computer moment falls into my hands. I soo miss you all. sniff sniff. I cannot get on here via my cell phone...not compatible did i mention i miss you all so much? Life sucks without you all in it everyday. I am destined to die the lonely cat/dog/horse/possum lady on the hill. Prayerfully I can get some more FTE guy time in.
