I had a decent weekend until it was time to get up this morning....get to work only to realize I was there an hour early. I keep telling myself that's better than showing up an hour late.

It gave you some time to reflect on how the rest of your day will go...lol
i got into the yard this morning, and was wondering where the heck is everybody??
45 minutes later, after i fueled up 3 trucks and 2 machines i remembered we were working nights this week.
Woops. Bet you won't make that mistake again.
I was sitting in the cab of the tub grinder today loading in pieces of real tree wood while the loader was putting pallet wood in when I noticed fire coming out from the engine area. A decent fire...
Got dad's attention on the loader and then tore a** to the service truck to get a fire extinguisher. Got it under control before it damaged anything more than a small, 1/2" hydraulic line. Looked like some pallet slats got in next to the engine and were contacting the headers or something and lit up.
We got lucky that we got it under control that fast. Fire is the #1 cause of losing machines of that type. We'll be getting 3 new fire extinguishers for that machine and mounting one on each side and one in the cab. Never know when something may happen. Yes it could've been prevented had we been looking for wood down in there but it is a new to us machine and the first fire we've had on it. I know that's going to become part of my pre start-up routine now.

Don't you just hate that!
