So something happened a few weeks ago that I still can't quite get over.

When I'm at work I always address someone as sir or ma'am regardless of age. If someone asks me a question it's always yes, sir or yes, ma'am. Well a lady was asking me a few questions to which I replied "Yes, ma'am."

Well she got all upset with me calling her ma'am. Unless I'm grossly mistaken referring to someone as sir or ma'am shows respect. She said I was insinuating that she was old or something... Oh well...

she probly don't,in a world with so much disrespect you would think she would find it refreshing to meet somebody that showed her some respect
