i just replaced the home depot water heater in my house 2 months ago.
it was 15 years old, and just started seeping.
before I threw that GE POS away, the year before I had to replace the direct vent blower, which burned out. It was under warranty for the parts but, it started doing the same thing again and this time it was out of warranty, so I paid the 150 for the part delivered and they changed the motor design and wiring, so the unit had to be rewired, which is BS. So I stopped payment on the part and shipped it back. Called a buddy of mine who does commercial jobs and got me a AO Smith commercial 80 gallon.

no damage here, but the little old lady next door lost a piece of flashing on her siding, the guy on the corner 2 houses down lost his roof, and one street over lost 3 cars from a giant tree that fell on his caddy and 2 brand new Lexus's.
