Best wishes for Dan and his family from North Carolina.
We're praying and hoping that Dan is able to continue the fight and will prevail. He must be one tough mother to endure all he has and still keeps a upbeat demeanor. Sounds like he has a really tight groups of friends and supporters in his corner.
As a friend and family member of others that have dealt with these tough situations, I sincerely wish him all the best.
He went for his 12 week following the end of his treatment scan yesterday. Up until this point no other clinical trial participant had ever gone 8 weeks without the tumors beginning to grow again. Dan was the first at 8 weeks to show a decrease in the tumor growth and now he is the first to reach 12 weeks with continued shrinking of the tumors!
Plus the scans do not show any other cancer cells anywhere in his body!
God has been busy answering all of our prayers for Dan and his family and I am happy to share with you this very positive news because you folks are all part of this journey.
Dan's attitude has been incredible which is really an asset to this whole process. We had dinner with his family this past Friday and he looked incredibly healthy...he is living his life and staying strong in his faith.
He is obviously not cured but the news just continues to be positive so I wanted you let you know how he is doing. It is amazing how his body has accepted the physical healing of the drugs but also just how amazing our Lord is at work in his body spiritually as well...miracles DO happen and Dan is living proof of it!
Pancreatic cancer is a very devistating disease since it is normally diagnosed so late in the game and one that not many survive...your prayers are being answered so THANK YOU all!
Just wanted to pass along the great news to you all!
Glad to hear that things are going better than expected. I will say a prayer of thanks tonight and add another one for Dan. Dan is blessed to have a buddy like yourself.
I am equally glad to hear the good news. Miracles can and do happen through prayer. Thanks for the update and I will keep Dan and his family in my prayers.
Great news Joe; all praise and glory to God for His goodness in Dan's life. I'm reminded of 1 John 5:14 " This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. " What a great hope and promise for the future . We will continue in our prayers for Dan, his family, and his friends that this struggle would draw you all closer to God, His love, and His saving grace.
