I could go on for an hour telling you how much better my V10 runs but to sum it up.... 60 mph over the Smokies pulling a 14,000 lb 5th wheel with a 16ft boat behind that grossing out at 23,600 lbs. I wouldn't beleave it with a 3.71 gear unless I actually did it myself. and never over 3800 rpm. That is why when people just want to jack with the timing I think it is wasted effort and maybe a good way to burn valves.
Hey guys, I know it's been a while since anyone posted here but what the heck...
Mike, I saw lots of dyno sheets with HP and TQ numbers but didn't see many (if any) reports on MPG. Anyone have something to say about that?
Contemplating a custom tune from Mike on my stock 01 F250 V10 w/ factory 4.30 gears. We regularly carry a 3k lb Lance camper while towing our 6k lb boat.

Yeah, I know this thread is old and dead, but it isn't locked so...
I have been contemplating headers for quite some time and this thread has convinced me to do so. Any opinions on the exhaust diameter I should run? I also just bought a Superchips 1715 - because it was cheap and I need to correct my speedometer. I stumbled across this thread after the purchase. I don't even have it in my hands yet.
Thanks. Did you notice any loss in bottom end power, or did it just feel better throughout the whole RPM range?
I have Banks headers. I'd say the entire rpm range did super. I also got a programmer from 4 star which helped. Keep in mind I have the old original heads/v10 so..
