On a diesel I like the sound of turbo whistle in the exhaust but not so much in the cab. Anymore I don't want to hear anything in the cab.

I think the louder the exhaust, the better. Of course, my mother would disagree lol (the only reason I don't have one on my truck)

I like loud truck but not to loud. Also don't like the sound of a big diesel sound that drives me nuts. My favorite sound is Thrush packs staight out the back. Although the banks powerpack on our 02 F250 sounds pretty sweet nothing beats a thrush pack like our bronco 2 had. If my exhaust falls apart on my 88 F150 I am going to put them on for sure straight out the back.

I've got long tubes and dual Flowmaster 50s on mine. Love watching everyone around look to see whats making so much noise when I step on the skinny pedal, lol. Other than open headers, it's probably the loudest truck I've heard.

Yeah, the 6.4 sounds similar. A little bit quieter even, but the turbo makes a good noise.
