Mufflers? Who needs those? My exhaust ends under the bed. Its the factory pipe that comes straight from the turbo with nothing in the middle. The turbo whistle is pretty loud (i think the bed makes it louder) and when I blow smoke, it looks like I blew the engine. In the winter you can see the white startup smoke come out of the wheel wells and all the stake pockets. Its pretty neat looking. There's a bit of soot on the rear axle and spare though....

I've got a 5.4L with a 3" stainless straight thru muffler and 3" out the back sans cat. Sounds sweet. Bubbles and pops being downshifted between 2K and 2.5K RPM

Matt I gotta say I like the way that truck sounds. I'll grab a video of my 7.3 with a 4" MBRP when I think of it and have a few minutes to spare.

The most recent video I have of my 96 F150...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORUOSSnZREU

Video is almost a year old now. That was with stock manifolds, 2.25 inch duals with glasspacks and no cats. My only engine mods at the time were GT40 heads and the Cobra/GT40 upper and lower intakes. The truck sounds a whole lot meaner now thanks to a E303 cam, Hedman long tubes, custom tune, and a few other mods.

Not too loud but loud enough for me. Starts off in stock and when it starts blowing smoke that's when I switched it to 120r.

I've got a 94 5.0 150 that has straight pipes from the headers, its so loud you can barely hear the radio over the cackling, I would show a video of this but it doesn't have a tranny atm, I'm planning on putting a 4bbl (possibly 2) on the EFI motor and running the pipes though the hood, think that might help it a little I also have an 08 ram with the 4.7 that has a straight pipe from the cats, the 3' stock exhaust sounds pretty damn mean too, I also have an 84' 150 with a 240 I6 that has a straight pipe from the headers its ok, by the 240 and 2bbl just don't have enough power to really crank up the sound, as you can tell, I don't like mufflers, or cats for that matter :P
oh heres a pick of my 84's pipe, you can really tell from the pic but it comes out at a 45 degree from frame and angles beautifully out the side right infront of the rear passenger tire, it makes cleaning that tire a pain but its worth it :P
