One thing I do like about sunday mornings, is they have a few good car/truck shows on tv in the morning.

It was a fun time Cris,just wish I would of had more time.

I know about the carnage,I was in to wheelen alot when I was younger and had the wall of shame of broken parts.

Good morning!!! nursing a little bit of a hangover this morning, but it was worth it. Havent had a boys night out in some time. Mostly drank beer, then bbq'd some nice T bones, told tons of lies, and took turns seeing who get eat the spiciest peppers...lol... Towards the end I switched to Manhattans, never had one of those before, but whatever is in that drink is powerful.

Sunny and 40 here right now!!!

Hope everyones weekend wasnt freezing and full of rain like mine! I think its supposed to start snowing around 9 tonight until noon on Monday. 2-4 inches expected...Ill believe it when I see it!


Yea, I agree with that. I TRY to get up in time to watch the power block on Spike.

My weekend was glorious except for a 5 minute "big man syndrome" last night from a "friend" of mine...

I have a buddy that has a band and he rents out this HUGE storage shed where he plays into the wee hours of the night. Well its been raining here for 2 days now and its freezing cold so we all decided to go over to the climate controlled "shed" as we call it. We always open up all the vacant ones and set tables up for flip cup, beer pong, cards and whatever else. Its about 330 this morning and we were cleaning up and friend of mine closes the door on me and locks it. I went to the door and put my shoulder into it. The door bends, and I mean BENDS (corrugated sheet metal) and I start to pull it back in to the tracks and 10 seconds later it was fixed. I could stick my head out of the room and see everyone. Thats how bad the thing bent. Finally got out and the guy that locked it started mouthin off. I took it lightly for the 1st statement or 2 but then I got pissed thinkin hes fresh out of boot camp and doesnt think his **** stinks or something. Ive already handled this guy once and when he walked outside everyone was like I guess he doesnt learn too well from past experiences. He was "taking up" for the guy who rented the place...funny thing was, the guy who owned it was on the floor laughing his azz off when I hit the door. Long story short he just kept walking to his truck and I wasnt about to chase him down in the damn rain. So I just waited at the door and his girl came up to me and said "hes just drunk" and I looked at her and said I think everyone here is intoxicated to a point so thats not really an excuse tonight. She walked outside and they left...
Hes definitely a yapper and I guess I just got tired of it AGAIN...but nothing happened but a bunch of his yappin last night.

 

So I just realized I got a really bad neck "sunburn". But in front.

I laid probably 10-12 feet of bead with the MIG yesterday and you can see exactly where there was a gap between the mask and welding jacket. I've got a big "sunburn" right where the gap was. And it hurts!

 

Glad it didnt end up in a brawl Tristan... I really hate fighting. Some people are just jerks.

Pete that sucks on the front of the neck, ouch. Aloe time....

 

I've seen a lot of welders that add a couple inches of material to the bottom of thier helmets to prevent that....

We repaired the boat trailer my dad owned a long time ago.I did most of the welding, it was a fairly warm day and I only wore a t shirt...I had quite a few flash burns on my arms and neck!

Powerblock is on now....runs later in the west!

 

I dont mind a practical joke and hell I was laughin while I was locked in there. The constant yappin just got on my nerves.

I used to only watch Xtreme 4x4...but since the only reason I watched that show left...I dont watch it on a regular basis...

 

I was looking to find out why Jessi left...I really couldnt get a concrete answer...

 

I was wondering what happened to Jessie.

I hate loud mouths.can't stand em.
