Well Tristan, that snow came through here Sunday morning. snowed hard and heavy for about 6-8 hrs, we got about 4 inches, and then when the front pushed through, the sun came out an melted it ALL in less than 2 hrs. Supposed to be in the 70s by wed, and about 80 on Saturday.
Mike -- That car was scheduled to be built exactly one year before I was born.
Tristan -- If you hear thunder, there IS lightning. Thunder is the sound of the arc between the sky & ground. Of course, if it arcs close enough to you, you'll see it and most certainly hear it....
The weather here is friggin' COLD. 32* I'm hoping this is the last cold snap, but then I was hoping the last one was the last one. If you follow me... LOL It's supposed to be in the 80s here this week -- won't get here soon enough!!

Good Morning All. I have some great news that I want to share with you. Last night at 11:45 pm my oldest son (step son) called Jaymi-Lyn and myself to let us know that he and his wife had the baby!!! Violet was 8lbs 3 oz. Mom and daughter are doing well.
I am now a Papa!! Jaymi-Lyn is so excited to be an Auntie too.
Later on this week we are going to see them and I'll post some pics.
I had a buddy in town this past weekend, so we spent 2 LONG days snowboarding up at Keystone. It was fun, but between my dad & picking up a cold, I just had no energy for surfing or checking FTE. Saturday night I was literally in bed at 7:30pm...
Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend! My Dad is improving still, albeit slower (naturally) and hasn't spoken yet, but he's making progress that is amazing the doctors.
Now that I'm "back at work" I can catch up on the OT.... LOL.
Oh yeah, this I find kinda funny. So the East (MD) got 8" of snow. Schools are closed and businesses are opening late.... and here in Denver it will be 68*, and 71* tomorrow!! I wish all that snow would get dumped up at the slopes!!! 8" of fresh to bomb through??? Yeah, I'd feel that cold kicking back in ..... hahahaha
Brendan, glad to hear your dad is continuing to do better.

It was ok Sheldon, short. We ran into a big storm on the way there. Horrible ground blizzard type of thing...we stopped to get a drink and go pee and got back on the highway and wham, suddenly its blizzarding and we can't see. Every time we'd pass a semi, the snow would swirl even worse and we couldn't see ahead, couldn't see the side of the road, and I'm fairly confident the semi driver couldn't see us. Very dangerous situation and we're lucky we got to Randy's parent's house.
Otherwise the rest of the trip was good.

Thanks. Had to go pop a few off. Fun to take a video to see how much you flinch. I must say I make those loads look light...those were pretty hot reloads we we're shooting out of randy's .357. Its cool to have my own ammo manufacturer.
SO the weather here is supposed to reach the 50's maybe. That'll be nice!!

Recently, with the stress of business and lack of sleep with Claire, my blood pressure has been through the damn roof...Once or twice it was upwards of 180 over 120...Nice huh??
You REALLY need to come to CO and go snowboarding with me - tell Julie it's "therapy"
Funny quote from this weekend's boarding:
"Ever notice that a chick that looks like dog-butt in street clothes is suddenly a hottie when geared up for boarding?" (I'm sure the same can be said from the other perspective, but I really liked the "dogbutt" term!!)
Ok I have someone here with me that all of you know about and she wants to say hello.
