I saw a school buss with a T444E in it the other day. I was tempted to buy it since it was only like 500 bucks.
Now are the mounts and everything the EXACT same as the 7.3? If it is I'm gonna kick myself. Could've had a spare 7.3 laying around for 500 bucks. And sold the trans, front end, and rear end and scrapped the rest.
I think they would be the same mounts and every thing. But I'm not sure.
Jay, in my experience..the only "qualifications" you need is ambition, ability to learn things quickly, and common sense. With those three things, you can do anything.
Go to college, hopefully you'll figure it out before you finish your CORE classes. From what I know about you...I would highly suggest looking into some type of engineering. Engineers get to do some very neat, very intellectual work. They solve problems, get to play with some cool machines, and oftentimes spend a lot of time out in the field.
Jay, the longer you own a PC, the more it gets gummed up with free downloads, cookies and useless scripts and programs that really slow it down when its trying to load up. If you have all of your discs for your operating system, and a way to back up all of the data and pictures and stuff...it sounds like you need your computer wiped out and everything reloaded on there. I know Randy's computer needs it bad. Its gummed up with so much crap, half the time it doesn't even want to run.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.
This thing has a recovery drive. Drive "D" I believe. Would that work? I was hoping to avoid something that drastic.

There is a ton of things you can do to keep your comp working lean and mean
On Edit: I prefer the wipe and install a fresh copy of windows myself too, that really works the best.
FYI Pete. The same advice I gave to Lisa. Find something you enjoy, then give it everything you have. No one is going to hire you and pay you a decent wage with benefits in any type of long term job. If you want a good wage, you need to go out there and earn it when it comes time. Set your mind to it, give it everything you have, set your goals, and you will be successful. Be prepared to start at the bottom and work your way to the top. That's why enjoying what you do plays an important role in things.
Personally, I'm not too worried about you. You've already demonstrated some of these qualities by getting the your truck. Something else to consider, even though your parents won't want you to, is some time in the military. You'll learn a lot of life's lessons very quickly there, as well as getting training and some on the job experience that can set you apart from others when it comes time to find a job in "the real world"

Ok Ray. Take me through baby steps here. I am trying to learn but I have always hated playing around with the computer so I know next to nothing without details.
I kinda fell into what im doing now, I like what I do now and it worked out so far so Im going with it. There a few things Id like to try/do though. I want to get my CDL, my dad has his and Ive always liked big ttrucks and stuff like that.
