I get a kick of people riding mountain bikes around here. $600-$1200 bikes meant for serious riding that see asphalt 99% of the time. I guess it's the same with the big 4x4 SUVs. Status symbols.
I agree Joe. Actually, collector things aside, I cant stand seeing anything not used for its purpose. Which brings to mind my grandpa.

95 Aircat airboat with 350 corvette engine, bought custom and new, garaged....
76' Bronco -garaged....
It goes on and on but it drives me and everyone else bonkers.....Nobody is allowed to drive/borrow or use any of it.....Just for looks.

I'd have to drop comments like "that Z really needs an alignment..." then again, even if I had the money for a REAL Shelby Cobra 427... I'd drive it. That's why they were built. Maybe at track day stuck mostly, but I'd have to go out on the street with it. Rare or not, they were meant to be driven.
Depends on which garage... There is a 3 bay shop, double deep, then another 2 bay shop, double deep, and then another one for the boats.....And he still has toys outside. Crazy huh? He was a welder/pipefitter and made some really great investments on property and fixing up homes, long before the home improvement craze....
