Perhaps we should just FTE to provide us with a template for our signatures? Then they can tell us what mods we can do to our trucks, and what to have for friggin' DINNER!!!

It's not really that bad. You get used to them.
I know I have been guilty of using some four letter words. Ones like the H-E-double hockey sticks and the four letter word for holding water back, and the likes.

I don't think who is important. I'm pretty sure we've all done it at least once.
I hope not. I don't think it's that big of an adjustment to just not post it.
The only thing the guidelines says is "no profanity". It was decided long ago by the higher up's that masked profanity is still profanity. In my opinion
The acronyms are ok. I also don't really have an issue with all symbols (&%$##, *****, etc.) as they aren't really hiding anything. Where we are running into problems is when a single letter or two is being replaced and it's obvious the intent is specifically to usurp the language filters.
I apologize for not giving a heads up, but I didn't know it was moved. This is evidently a message for Jim and I.
Definitely not all your fault. I removed the last thread because in the 8 or so pages I read there were about 30 posts with language I wouldn't let my kids read.
No reason at all for you to leave, unless you're just ticked off at us. There is certainly not anybody angry with you.
I owe you guys an apology. This has been my favorite group to participate with, and I have let way too many little things slide. If I had done a better job maintaining FTE's policies over the last couple of years these relatively minor changes wouldn't be an issue now.

But here's the thing -- once again, action was taken without telling anyone anything, Scott. That's what has people pi$$ed off, if I can say that. If you guys are going to move stuff, it would be good to know why. But either way, point taken on the language. Again, we're all adults. All you had to do was say we've been pushing it, and we all need to clean up the language. Problem solved. So why was it moved back here?
