Looking at the direction that Ford has gone with the new Explorer and the announced demise of the Ranger, you can bet your bottom dollar that a Bronco ain't gonna happen. They can't afford to build too many toys right now. I find this to be really sad but it is what it is.
I would vote for the early baby Bronco, definitely not the big boy.
However where does it fit in Ford Lineup? Escape, Explorer, Expedition? Who gets the axe?
Have to figure they axe the Explorer, since after 1996 that's what the Bronco became and it became soft and round. I have an '89 full size Bronco that's gotta be the most fun thing I've driven in my short time on this marble. The expedition can stay since the call for 4-door vehicles are still good and the edge is kind of some off-spring of the two. If they DO bring back the OJ, they will have to address the mpg while trying to not sacrifice the power and fun that the ol' bronco still brings to the table.
Wow its looking like the spy drive. I like the body design and structure of the drive. have anyone see the interior pictures. if yes then please share them. Thanks for staring this topic.
My first vehicle was a '78 Bronco. I'm now driving an '08 F-150 FX4 Supercrew I'd love to see a new Bronco. F-150 engine and drivetrain to keep a reasonable price, but have enough power for towing and fun. Removable top....something a little lighter and easier to remove than the old Bronco hard tops. Removable doors similar to a jeep.
They won't do it, but they will make 1000 hp Shelby's and SHO Taurus's. I would love to see them make an affordable full size truck for the average family to afford. 40k is too much for a new truck.
