Which is easier, changing auto to manual, or 302 to 351? The 1995 302 is a former Border Patrol Bronco, it is lifted with long radius arms installed. The 1996 351 EB is auto with push button 4x4. The BP Bronco is about $1,700 more.

Sorry, both are auto. I'm looking at too many Broncos.
Couldn't say which is easier. depends on alot of other things. But I will say that you should go with the EB. The BP has probably been hammered alot harder over its lifetime, lifts are overrated, and EBs are sweet with all the goodies you could get. Plus you said its cheaper and has the superior truck engine already. (nobody freak out! its just an opinion )
As others said, especially since both are auto, I would go with the EB bronco as well. To answer the your first question, changing auto to manual would be easier in my opinion as well.
Unless you decide to do it right, getting a ZF5, then it's more complicated.
The M5ODs aren't that bad! At least the R2s. If you can get your hands on a ZF5, then that's a lot better for sure. The only complaint I have about my transmission for driving it the past 130k miles is that the slave cylinder is internal... I had to take the transmission down the replace a leaking slave which was pretty annoying.
The 351 seller hasn't responded to a request for more information. Now the banks are closed. I like the looks of the former BP Bronco. It is rougher, but has a lift, long radius arms installed and 31" BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires. Price was lowered another $200. I might talk him down more.
The real dilemma is, do I buy a Bronco, or MOD my 95 OBS F350.
If you post your Bronco for sale on Craigslist, why do you not respond to request for additional information or pictures? Why not include a complete description? Why make me ask the same questions over and over without answering them? This is frustrating!
I'm thinking I might go with moding F350. At least I'll have a way to get the Bronco home if I ever find the right one.
I know what you mean with people!!!
And saying "title in hand" doesn't always mean that it is a legal title! I'm working through this BS right now. If the guy selling the Bronco isn't the guy on the title, keep away unless you have additional time and money to spend on it before you can drive it!
I have had four Broncos sold out from under me, that I was interested in. Three were sold in less than 24 hours. It may be the fickle hand of fate telling me the former BP Bronco is the way to go, especially since he keeps lowering the price!of
Well, go with your gut. I always say all that really matters is what YOU think about your bronco not anyone else. I am sure some people here are getting sick of reading it dont regret not pulling the trigger fast enough if you think it is the one, that applies to many things in life in fact. Carpe-diem! No Ragrets lol!

I wasn't thinking transmission with the auto or manual question since you pointed out the EB has a push button transfer case.
I wish I bought a 351 powered Bronco instead of the 302. Probably one of the reasons I sold the '94. Compared to my '87 it seemed underpowered.
