Looking back at this thread - I wish some of these had been near me!

Any comments:

I looked for the right truck for 3 months - knew I wanted as low of miles as I could find also - 4x4, leather, quad seating, heated seats. The ones I could find near me were not in good condition - either high miles and questionable maintenance or there were a couple which popped up in great condition but over $20k and sellers weren't dealing. Found mine in South Carolina and drove the family 6 hours to get there and do the deal. Thing is in almost perfect condition - the only cosmetic problem is the previous owner had one of those hood bug shields which rubbed some paint off the top of the grill. Not a big deal for me as I hope to get an '05 grill and lights at some point anyway. Plus you can't see it unless you either look close or have the hood open.

Prices do appear to have gone up - and are selling pretty quickly. I had several disappear on me from Carmax and they don't negotiate on their pricing. I looked at a 2000/Limited/4x4/v10/99k miles for 12,500 and another exactly the same but with 63k miles for 12,900. While I may look back and wish I had paid a little less - I plan to keep this beast for a long time so I'm really glad I found the one which had the options I was looking for and had fairly low miles.
