Sorry if this isn't the right place for this question, but...I want to put rear lights under the bumper of my 2011 F250 and wire them to upfitters I installed this winter. The problem is, there are no pre-drilled holes in the bumper like on another truck I owned.
is it kosher to drill a couple of small holes in the underside of the bumper for the lights?
You could post it up in the BS thread or on the Super Duty forum for the best feed back but as far as drilling a couple holes it shouldn't be a big deal, personally either oil or paint the holes though to prevent rust because that's a massive problem with these trucks in new England lol.
"...Wish me luck!"
mpd61 - welcome! Kids can B like yoyos depending on the economy so I'll wish U & them luck on that one.
Ron from Plymouth? Nice ta meet ya! Wonder if there's a job between "MetroWest" and Plymouth for you & Iggy to do? May B an "outside room" for a multi-million dollar remodel?

I'm not sure how I never wandered in and joined this chapter. I've been on the boards for over 10 years. Originally found FTE on a yahoo search for f-150 2wd to 4wd conversions. That was when I had gotten my first truck, an '89 F-150 4x2, 300 I-6, M50D. That truck had to be replaced when the frame finally broke all the way through after having a couple sections welded alredy. Then came the Mazda Ranger. 4.0 pushrod, Auto, 4x2. Towed a 24' 5th wheel with that until this season. Now have 2 kids, so a bigger camper was needed. Bigger camper meant bigger Tow vehicle. So I now have a 2012 E-350 Wagon with the 5.4 2v. The Mazda is now my sister's. Also have a 2002 Mercury Cougar XR edition, bought new. I can be found under this screen name on the NECO forums, NortheastATVers, maybe a few others I lost track of.
I frequent the Full Size van section as well as the Towing and Trailers section.
Hey everyone, I'm John from Woburn. Got a new F250 w/6.2 decked in Lariat trim a few weeks ago. This is my daily driver, big boy play toy.
