Congrats Paul, and welcome aboard I think you will like this forum quite a bit. Plenty of info available here. Good luck with the new truck. Hope to see you around the forum (root beer floats)
welcome!!! to Paul and the new, older 'entries' (I can confuse anything, but think U know what I'm sayin).
Join in on the BS thread for more action. Don, the chapter (all of Massachusetts) leader can sign U up. You'll get notices of our Get To Gethers (GTG) where we "connect the e-mail handle to the face" in near monthly activity of one sort or another.
I get alot out of the model specific forum for my vehicle in tech support and parts. So there's 3 things , all of which you may not be advantaging yer self.
And those aren't "root beer floats" if from the E. Walpole I remember. (wasn't 'Dolly Madison' and the 'shingle plant' over there?)
Also -
the E series IS a truck, dude! You is in da right place!
I'm Mike. I traded in my 2001 Ford Explorer at the end of August, and joined the big leagues with the purchase of my new 2012 F150 Super Crew. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone, and to driving this truck. Which, by the way, is the most fun vehicle I have driven. (Although, the good ol' Ford CVPI is a close second )
Howdy Devin...welcome to FTE......and the Massachusetts Chapter!!! Don't know of any 6.9 guys off the top of my head. Hope to meet you at a GTG in the future!!!

Hi Mike! Welcome, good 2 C nother I6 guy!
The folks (from around the world & close to U near Sherly) on the 300/4.9 forum here are just incredable! I can't recommend another on-line crowd I'd suggest to an automotive interested individual for friendly or knowledgable contact. I'm serious. If U want some ford truck contacts they got it all over these MA Chapter guys.

Now I'm in trouble
Glad it's cyber space rather than MY place ouch ooch eech ahch. I deserved that.
Hey, really - ask Don (donjamer) to sign U up for the BS thread to join in a rolling conversation with the Chapter (and again good folks from around the country).

I couldn't agree with you more. I do have the original Ford REAL shop manuals but the information on here is more first-hand, real experience. Great stuff. And about that thread, what is that exactly? I'm new to the forum concept haha
