Massachusetts Roll Call!
I'm Matt Reid from cape cod. I bought my first truck emotionally three years ago. I still own it and have done quite a bit under it so far. It's a 96 f150 4.9 300, M50D. still needs alot though. so far: Coils were bagged one broke so just did them, front and rear rear shackle brackets, the leafs and shackles were in very good shape so i left them alone, shocks, radius arm bushings, tie rod assembly rebuilt. unsuccessful exhaust manifold repair. brake master cylinder replaced, most of the brake lines <80%> 31's.
What it needs: midship gas tank and the valve that controls gas flow as the rear fills it and it leaks. Also need power brake booster as air leaks into the cab, creating quite a vacuum leak i think. i plan on doing all new rotors and wheel cylinders. Im leaking coolant from somewhere near the front under the rad.. and near the rear of the engine.
first is the gas tank, for safety and because my inspection is running out end of march.
stupid 1996 obd2 missed tha freakin cutoff ****.

Hello everyone. My name is Shane and im new to this here chapter. I do odd jobs for a living. scrapping sometimes. These forums are amazing, because theres such a wealth of knowledge and interest networked into a giant cloud of creative resolve and know how that i, and many like me can be just as capable as a certified mechanic in terms of discovering the most intricate engine and mechanical problems you can think of. and every now and then, i even have a little something to share with somebody, and i think thats really cool. not to mention all the great people you meet here with common interests! anyway, just thought i'd introduce myself and say hello, and i thank you all for doing what you do

John from Dracut here. I drive a T/T for living. I'm in the Southern Cruisers bike club, http://scrcmv.net and show horses. Actually my kid does. I just drive the trailer, things like shovel the poop and pay for it all but it's still enjoyable.
Hey folks, my name is Frank and I'm in Attleboro, MA. Just picked up what I think is a '79 F350 4spd 4x4 sling-type Tow Truck with a 460 of course! Also own an '09 Ranger. I'm currently an electronics technician for a service company.

Hey all, JJ from Dedham. Have a 2005 F350 6.0 Diesel, only added an exhaust and tires so far. also have a 2005 Jeep wrangler lifted locked, trailer it everywhere (reason for the 6.0) also ride a 2009 Yamaha VStar 950 cruiser during the few riding months we have.
