DTC P1280 indicates injector control signal circuit out of range low was detected during KOEO Self Test or during continuous diagnostic monitoring.
Possible causes:
biased ICP sensor/PCM
open ICP sensor circuit
short to SIG RTN or PWR GND on ICP sensor circuit
open in VREF circuit
Is that the butterfly valve just past the turbo?
Now that I think about it I had it unplugged so thats probably why it came up.
The rest are OK and wouldnt cause the truck to run crappy?
are these codes from the 02? if so then here is my opinion,
the 344 is most likly set from extended cranking intervals, 99% of the time you see a 344 set without a 340 its not a cam sensor issue. the 1280 is going to be your issue to check on first, if you can read live data moniter icp and ipr duty cycle while cranking, you will probably see a high ipr cycle in the 30's or 40's while cranking if not maxed out, your icp will be very low (under 400)
if these are from the obs truck then i will ask you if you have replaced your o-rings yet? and agian if you have live data on your scanner then see what the icp and ipr looks like at idle, my guess is you will be idling in the high teens to low 20's on ipr and while driving under load it will be maxed out trying to keep pressure up.

Yes, the ebpv. What is does is opens and closes to let the engine warm up faster. Most people gut it because it gets a bunch soot on it and sticks causing a TREMENDOUS power loss and acts as a restriction to us that run larger injectors and need max flow of air in and out of the engine. If its unplugged its possible that its closed or partially closed. Good luck!
When I bought the truck the rod was unhooked.
With great difficulty I got it hooked back up again.
Maybe I should unhook it again?
Maybe there was a reason it was unhooked.
lol yea I wouldnt recommend messing with it hot either!! I would almost bet thats why you have no power. Also if you have a clogged cat or resonator. I would definetly check that bpv asap.
