sorry i didnt have a better pic but i hope this helps you. the red wire is for my switch going to the EBPV. just follow how it loops down towards the bottom of the turbo and you should have an idea of where the plug is at. it has two wires going into it. and is plugged into the side of the turbo

I've been curious about disconnecting the EBPV for awhile now. I've never noticed any problems with it connected before, but recently the engine will have absolutely no power at all when cold. Even in neutral, it will not go above 1000 rpm. Pushing down on the gas pedal does nothing but create huge clouds of smoke. Oddly enough, the truck starts out fine, without being plugged in, goes about 10 minutes, then the hissing starts. If I let it idle another 10 mins or so, it warms up enough and runs fine.
