Question About 1996 Ford Ranger Exhaust System

Does anyone know if i need to run a Catalytic Converter on my truck if I am going to run a Performance exhaust system on my truck or if it would be best to run both?

If your truck came with a catalytic converter it has to have one, you will not gain any performance (HP or MPG) from removing it.

Run both. There's hardly anything to be gained by removing the cat unless you have some serious hop-up work.
