Dash light replacement
2001 Ranger.
I have a burned out instrument cluster bulb that I need to replace. It's the bulb that lights up the gas gauge part of the cluster (farest left side one). Is there a way to change the bulb without taking the dash apart?
I'd like to have the bulb in hand before I start working on it. Does anyone know what number the bulb I need?

Also, here is my suggestion for doing this right so you will never need to do it again.
Replace all the bulbs at the same time, and use LED bulbs, which also consume less power, last much longer, and produce less heat.

I waited until all but 2 were burnt out and replaced them all. If it is anything like the 2000 it shouldn't be hard. I was surprised how easy it was to do it and it took under 1.5 hours total. If I have to do it again it will take less than 30 minutes since I know how to do it now.

Thanks guys, maybe i'll wait awhile and see if anymore lights burn out I was hoping it wasn't a tear dash apart type job but looks like it is. I'll wait until warmer weather to spend some time working on it outside.
