Ranger will not run.

I have an 06 Ranger with 20k miles. I use it to commute to work about 75 miles total a day. Today I drove it home and parked it as I do everyday. Well my daughter wanted to use it to go to the movies and it would not start. I went out there and tried it myself thinking she is doing something wrong. Well it would not start. It turns over and seems to want to start. It sits there and stumbles for a few seconds wile it tries to run, then dies.

The update: I started reading the owners manual to figure what fuse feeds the fuel pump and were the starter relay's might be. Wile turning the pages to get to the fuse section I se the fuel pump shut off switch. The one that is under the passenger side dash. I think it kills the pump if you roll the truck or something like that. I press the button and did not pay enough attention as to weather or not it was in or out. The button I mean. So I push the button and try to start it. Bamb it starts right up. I turned it off and on many times to make sure it was the issue. It seems ok now. I will update if anything changes.

You could bypass it, but it would allow your fuel pump to keep pumping after a collision. They generally don't give any trouble. I've never touched mine in 65,000 miles, nor in 250,000 miles on my car, with an identical switch.
You just experienced a fluke condition. I know that FoMoCo won't put in anything extra on their millions of vehicles made each year, so I'd leave it connected. They must have thought it a good idea....

I will take your advice and leave it alone. Your probably right saying it was a fluke thing.
