Yep, have to be able to talk. I've got a first date in 2-1/2hrs.... sushi first, and I picked the place because of the parks nearby. It'll be a bit chilly for a walk & talk, but still should be OK for a short bit. Wish me luck (I'm leaving the toothpicks at home for this one Lisa!)
Good luck! Take Nyx..
Be your usual, talkative, happy self, and she'd be dumb not to like ya.
Scott, I love that truck, dwarfs the silverado sitting there. lol.
I worked in Cheyenne for about 16months. 3 guys there had Chevy's... all 4x4's. My truck with just a leveling kit sits about a foot taller than any of them. They were all like "how much did your lift cost?" i just laughed when the 3rd Chevy guy (my buddy John) said... "Oh no... Fords come like that."
Hmm. Yeah best first dates I have been on, a movie wasn't involved. Movies do suck, no talking, and a heavy dinner can be awkward too. Nothing like trying to make a good first impression, and have to try and be polite and not drop sauce on your lap! (cuz thats the kinda crap I do). Dinner can be a good indicator of behavioral issues though. In my past experiences, I have had quite a few men get mad at me over my food choice. I had a guy one time get mad at me for ordering a grilled cheese sandwich over lunch, because, in his opinion "I coulda made that at home". That was the LAST date we ever had...idiot...
Randy and I went to Dave and Busters on our first date. (its an adult arcade). We played games and had a few drinks and laughed our asses off, and once we were comfortable with one another we sat down and had dinner.
Third date I told him to get a few guns ready, I came and picked him up in Big Red, drove him up into the mountains, and we went shooting for an entire afternoon.
I disagree with the friends thing, at least on the first date. A first date should just be the two of you.
The rest of it I agree with.
Lisa, absolutley correct, that was more of a 2nd date deal. My bad. Julie has educated me on the difference.

Good luck man! Sushi is an EXCELLENT choice for a first date. Have a good time.
Good idea! Looks like I might need to look into an engraver or some punches.

I wish we had a D&B here. Got one in St. Louis, but that's 2 hours away. Thing that sucks with this town is most of the "fun" things to do revolve around the college students, which is mostly loud bars and clubs. Not exactly good for a first date.

Someone breaking into the garage is my biggest worry. I don't have receipts for most of my tools, so I can't prove that I had them. I think I may go at least snap some pictures tonight. Thanks, Jim.

Seems like dinner and a movie is not for me anymore. I prefer to do something where you can talk and interact, not just sit there in the dark next to each other.
I agree with you Jeremy, I fell asleep at the movie on my wife during our first date.
It worked out alright because we just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.

Little b**ches... outta my way... hahahaha
One of these days when there is a few, I'm gonna snap a few pics at the lumber yard of all the psd's. I start drooling when I pull in there in the morning. Every contractor has one, I love it.
Scott, any word on your flares or getting some black hardware for them -- and me too?
Flares haven't came yet and I am stil working on the black hardware for both of us. The guy told me that he thinks he can get the hardware but he wants to get a sample first. All I need is for my flares to come and I will hook him up. Going to order enough for both of us if we can get them.
