I envy you, I have a big proposal pitch to our executives in about 30 minutes from now. I hate asking our head honchos for $$$ for a project. Been working on this proposal for 6 months so this is for all the marbles.

I think the flatbed route isn't ideal but could still be very practical. Some big ratcheting straps, tarps and maybe some plywood sheets to help make "walls" might work out great.

EDIT: Duh, just went back and looked at the pictures and see the "slat wall panels" in the last picture.

I actually like the new metallica album, listened to it all morning at physio and the gym.

Something about that music keeps the adrenline flowing for me an i can increase the weight I lift, and the rest of the fun stuff I do.

Yeah, I'll only use an outside company if I have no choice. I hate hidden fees. I'd rather just do it myself...and if i'm going to pay a few grand for anything, I might as well come out of it with a trailer I can use.

I actually have a pair of big rig rachet straps...if you know what I'm talking about. Those things would hold down an elephant.

Lisa, when i moved from saskatchewan to bc, and back, I used a 18 foot car trailer that I bought. I bought a bunch of chip board, and 2x4's and made sides that were 6 feet tall on it. I moved our whole house, twice, that way. (on the way back my dad brought his 01 longbox psd to make it easier)

I did get a few funny looks, but in the end, the amount I paid for the car trailer, was the same amount that it would have been to rent trailers. So in the end I got a car trailer, and ended up selling that!

I have a picture or two of moving like that, somewhere.

My bad.

Mrs. Cookie is much more important than starting a new OT thread to give all us addicts some place to gossip. When you say "something happened" we all hope it's what we're thinking it was!

Happy Anniversary by the way. I have a lot of respect for folks who know what commitment means.
