And Ron is mean and never has anything nice to say. Jeremy is a horrible mechanic, Kris is old and Mike doesn't like beer!

Just report the incident to FTE and there administrators and let them handle the punishment and retributions.

It completely blows my mind that someone trying to promote their company and sell their products would act in this manner on a public forum. I don't see DP-Tuner or ITP treating previous and potential customers this way.

All I got to say is I won't be doing business with BD anytime soon. They could give away diesel for $1.50 a gallon and I would still walk away.

Oh yeah,

I would also like to add that Guzzle's site has been one of the best resources for the DIY Ford owner. FTE has also been a great place for help. ITP had what I wanted and needed, fast shipping and all. Just because some DIY'er has a cheap mod and is not manufacturer or designed by scientist doesn't mean its crap, it might preform better than your fancy R&D version. All I wanted to say is....................Thanks Guzzle, FTE, ITP, so far its been great!

If your company is really that green, you shouldn't be in the aftermarket diesel buisness, because our diesel trucks are killing polar bears and penguins as we speak (type).

If you have bought into the Global Warming scam, then you need to turn off the nightly news and start to think for yourself.

To the OP, just vent it to the atmosphere and be done with it.

Holy smokes! I just saw ITP's CCV kit. $60? I did mine much better. Basically the same parts from the auto store, for about $15. I just plugged the CCV port to the intake with a rubber hose stopper from the auto store. It's basically like a rubber hose, but one end completely sealed. For the 90º bend, I just reused the same hose from the doghouse to the intake. Best part, all the same stock parts are still there. If I ever wanted to reverse my decision for the open air...no hunting around for my old parts.

I just don't get what everyone has to make this more difficult, more complicated, and more expensive than it needs to be.

I've questioned some of the other mods that I've seen for sale. I had to purchase a few of them. But I've been hoping that someone on the forums with some knowledge of hydraulics, hoses, etc...could spec some of this stuff out, and let DIY'ers do it ourselves. Let the sponsors sell to those that have the money, or don't like the DIY stuff.

I hope I'm not the only poor guy on the forum. And these economic times are even going to make it tougher. Some of the other mods I bought I did so because I could rationalize a ROI. $320 and $60 can go a long way for me right now.

The 60 kit from ITP is worth it, its very nice and clean install. I have a 4" piece of exhaust tubing in my wifes X to delete the opening, and mine has a one off AFE tube that runs to the turbo.

But ITP's is very nice and worth the $60 for sure.

You have got to be kidding me! BD, a diesel performance aftermarket vendor (for the most part) is eluding to being "GREEN", to being concerned about the effects of our "carbon footprint"? HAHAHAHAHAHA....that's funny right there!

Furthermore, with comments and attitude like that towards another vendor (and a SUPER HIGH QUALITY one at that!) I know I will never purchase anything from BD.

To the OP: There are thousands and thousands of trucks running down the road with nothing more than an open CCV: a simple tube or pipe running down below the truck to vent the crankcase vapors out and away. It's all you really need. Besides, at road speed, the vapors are minimal. There's much more crank case vapor at idle than when the engine is under load. I've been running a T444e CCV for a few years now with absolutely NO issues....and boy does it help keep the engine cleaner!

Good luck!

Carry on boys...I'm heading back to the PSN! ----->

Dennis's stuff is top quality and he's definitely a class act. Of all the times I've talked to him on the phone, met him in person, or ordered products from him, I've never gotten a single bad vibe from him. That reminds me, I need to order a new boost gauge from him. 35 psi won't cut it anymore.

WOW! Dave at BD Power is clearly a complete jackass.

Between his behavior here (attacking ITP Diesel) and the unethical way that his company conducts business (stealing PDR's turbo), I promise that I will NEVER purchase anything from BD EVER!
