Jeremy, you don't want to marry me.

I am a complete pain in the ***, bullheaded and stubborn. I hog the blankets, use up all the hot water, and, sometimes I borrow t-shirts to lounge around in and never give them back. I leave half-full sodas all over the house. Oh also, I'll put my cold hands on sensitive warm body parts to warm them up. (no, i'm not talking about THAT body part, Travis).

Brent,

People are the only selfish animals. That's why we have so many dogs and cats without homes.

I know. That's neither here nor there. I'm hoping it's a fad, like skinny jeans...and like skinny jeans, this too shall pass.

Brandon, Crown huh? I'm having some cocktail time myself.

I don't really censor myself, sometimes I just stand back and wait and watch the train wreck.

Yep, Im not much of a hard liquor person, usually just stick to beer, but for some reason I had a taste for Crown tonight.

I can drink beer all day long and still be fine, but give me two mixed drinks or a couple of shots, and Im ready for bed soon. I hate to admit it but I have been working on the same half gallon of Crown now for the past two years. When my wife and I went to Cozumel 5 years ago, I got a case of Crown half gallons (4) for $100. So far I have only made it through 1 and 1/2 of those bottles.
I have to be in a certain mood for tequilla, and that usually happens at a mexican rest.

That's not a bad thing you know.

I have a bottle of Malibu that is probably a year old. Just finished it up.

I'm not much of a drinker, I enjoy one every now and again it helps me wind down sometimes.

Did I find a cheaper or more expensive place to get destroking parts?
I remember reading you were looking for the adaptor so you can hook up you factory tach, this place has them.

Randy, I appreciate the input. If you're talking about a cheaper place as in FordCummins, I personally wouldn't use their products. I've seen the FordCummins stuff and was not impressed. Destroked (DESTROKED: Cummins Conversions) is the only company I'd buy the conversion parts from. The guy who owns Destroked actually got started because he was very unimpressed by the quality of parts he bought from FordCummins for a conversion he was doing. He's a machinist by trade, so he knows what he's doing. I have yet to hear of a complaint about the Destroked stuff. Destroked parts are top notch!

You are correct, I am waiting on some stuff to hook up my factory tach. However, I'm waiting on PCS to finish up a new item made specifically for Destroked. The way it was done is to bolt a tone wheel to the crank at the balancer and use a magnetic tach pickup to catch the signal. What I'm waiting on though is a completely electronic method that uses the existing Cummins crank position sensor signal which gets converted into a tach signal that the stock tach can use. Scott at Destroked told me if I wanted the tone wheel setup, he could get that to me, but I opted to wait. I spoke to PCS about it and they indicated they are very close to having it done. It will only be available through Destroked though.

I have been reading up on your conversion, and Im very impressed with your detail. I really like the way you make this info like a how to book with pics. Im taking this all in for that rainy day I may end up doing this. As for price or quality you can go wrong with quality. I have been searching the web and found that site.
