Great day to ride my motorcycle to work again. 4th time this week due to great weather and the fact that my grocery getter is up on blocks, getting the rotors and pads all slowly slowly changed.
Now I remember why I'm in love with Fords and plan to get rid of the Olds once University is over.... if the brakes are this tough to work on...
The caliper pistons won't go back in with just a push from a pair of channel locks or pliers... I have to spin the pistons back in with a specialty took that doesn't work all too well (the piston has specific grooves in it for each different model for when you rotate it back in).
Since the little tool for the piston requires a ratchet, the caliper requires a second set of hands to hold...
It's not fun holding a caliper with one hand while trying to turn a ratchet with the other, so that's where friends and family come in.
And sometimes a third set of hands is needed to hold my beer for me haha.
Still dunno anyone besides you Morris that would rather work then goto the lake haha.
Count me in the "I'd rather work" category...Not much of a lazy lake guy. Now if there was wakeboarding or lake trout I might be persuaded to spend some time on the water, but in the long run, I'd rather work. My wife is convinced there is something wrong with me, she may be right... :P
Poured my footings yesterday. Nice guy who dug my hole made enough room that the truck could get to all sides and corners of the forms!! Only thing I wheelbarrowed was a bit for the 3 telepost pads. Today is another beautiful day, might see if I can find someone to haul some crushed rock for me, hunt down a bobcat and keep cruising on this project.
Good morning Dennis, your welcome and another picture of your Mustang would be nice.
I`d be glad to drop by with my Bobcat Sherm but I`m too far away.
Is it going to be a good weekend for the Ford racing gang Gerry?
