Granted my enduro doesnt go as fast as your bike does, but when I take it on the highway, I never feel that I need a windshield, and the full faced helmet seems to work!
No rain in site here so far, which is abit strange as it`s a long weekend.
With my glasses using a full faced helmet is a real pain for me so I much prefer having a windshield. It`s a quick detach but I doubt it`ll ever come off.
So the third rock is dry Tim.......
I have glasses as well Morris, and I bought a helmet from proline, and it works great! I use mine for snowmobiling and biking, and my glasses never get in the way. The one I bought is really nice to use.

I haven`t tried many but the ones I did I couldn't get the helmet on wearing my glasses and once the helmet was on I couldn't get my glasses on. Maybe it`s cause I have a big melon.
Also I find that a windshield deflects at least some of the the wind away from me tho not near as good as a fairing.
It was hard to find a good fitting helmet but I managed to find one that fits good and feels quite comfortable.
I've got a shoei RF1000. Its an expensive lid, but highly rated. On a sport bike, its best to go with the ultimate in protection!!
If all goes through with the HD plans, I will be sporting a German Army style helmet. Open faced, simple lid. I'll be keeping my full faced always though, as its good to have, and a very good chance I'll come upon a sport bike again some day.
I wish I could have gone to the lake this long weekend! At home all weekend doing yard work. We have been in this house for a year now so I guess it's time to get the yard done. The little guy turned one this past week and he will need some room to run around!
