Sherm, why are you thinking the switch to a cruiser?? Try a dual sport as well, you will love it being the kind of guy you are! Only bad/good thing about a dual sport, at least that I am finding, is you pretty much have to buy another bike for your cruising/sporting/longer distance riding!

I sure love the style of the Harley's. They do have a certain "class" about them that other bikes just cant reach. That being said they are a ways down on the quality list from what I have heard as well. I dont believe they are quite an 80/20 bike though haha, I think they are much better then that!
If I was in the market for a cruiser I wouldnt be afraid of a suzi, yami, or a honda, like teh shadowish type bikes, they are pretty sweet.
