Ive always liked the harleys. I have done a lot of reading myself on them, but have found that the technology and reliability, although improved, is still not comparible to the likes of the yammers, honda's, etc. That being said, the aftermarket support and knowledge is comaprible to our beloved fords, damn near endless! Its hard to keep up with the technology of the foreigns I think, just due to harley having a certain image to live up too.
I also get why ya want one bike instead of two, and I think a Harely would be a great purchase, even if they MAY NOT be the top dog in technology or quality (and im not saying they are bad either!!)
